I knew Rule 6 ... but not Rule 42
i think rule 42 is the cooler of the two, and has the better number. so i went with that.
It's interesting, neither of the rules he had in mind show up on a quick google search ...
oooh, then i guess i'm completely going off the unintended set of rules. even better. :)
hey! i follow the rules when it suits my purposes!!
fight the power. and stuff.
Oct 42 = Dec 34.
It's mystical, I say!

My vote is for Rule 34.
"The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. No more. No less."
"11. Everything is air-droppable at least once."
So true -- twice if you have enough spare parts...
Hey, own up to it, this is cooler than being on Jeopardy, except for the no money thing, and the not being on TV thing, and ... oh never mind
There is NOOOOOOOOO . . . Rule 6.
That's one, you get a half a winky button
Oh, goodie! Just what I always wanted!
(Will it help me get a job?)
Since I could not determine which Rule 42 you are refering to here (consolidation of like cases in court, definition of legal & illegal ways for sailing boats to pass each other during a race, etc), I am going with the only Rule #6
that matter: no pooftahs!
Actually Rule #6
is ... there IS ... no rule #6
If Rule 42 is what I now think it is, which makes sense given Mr Silver's sense of humor, then I decree that Rule 42 is much cooler than Rule 6, which doesn't even exist.
I say this as someone who is well shorter than a mile tall, and is not at any rate currently in a courtroom regardless.
And you are the first person to get them both right
Yay, I get half a winky button!
well now i feel like a ginormous dork for not getting the disney reference.
Disney? Hmmmpphhh! It's the oldest rule in the book! It was around LONG before Disney was born!
Argh!! I didn't see this until other people got to guess the rules.
At least I still got to vote for 42. :)
I'm oddly excited that as I post this there are 6 people who voted for rule 6.
Wait, do those people exist if rule 6 doesn't exist?
I don't know. AAaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!
