Things keep coming home
Many hears ago my Mom made a scarf for me. I turned her on to Dr Who when I was in college, the same time she was quitting smoking. This is one of the things she did with her hands. It has been missing for several years now. It was thought it might be at my ex's house, or in one of our storage spaces. I was afraid that it may have been amongst the things that were on the floor in the basement when it flooded, and was destroyed. I really thought I would never see it again.

My ex found it at her Mom's, where we used to do laundry till 4 or 5 years ago, down a couple strata in the stuff no one has looked at in eons. I have my Dr Who scarf back. The colors aren't quite right, she had a black and white TV when she was watching the show. But it's easily recognizable ... and my Mom made it.

I'm a happy camper.

Yay on finding the scarf!! Things like that are worth keeping. I have a few things that I will never get rid of, even if I never wear/use them again, since they were from something Important in my past.

Hearing this makes me happy in many ways, mostly for you, but even a little for me.

Yay! Will it make an appearance this weekend?
