What should be my next Netflix TV show? What is something you think I may not already own, or already have seen?

This was originally posted on Dreamwidth, after which it wandered out to various other sites. Feel free to reply where ever you want. I should still see it.

I'm not a Netflix subscriber myself, so I'm not sure of what's available. That said, my favorite scripted drama of the last few years is "Justified". Great writing, wonderful acting.

In the SF/Fantasy area, if you haven't seen it, catch up with "Fringe". One key character kept me coming back in the good-but-not-great first season (Walter is one of the best mad scientists ever), but then the show matured into something special.

In the reality area, I'm a huge fan of "So You Think You Can Dance". They pair fantastic dancers with great choreographers, and keep the focus on the quality of the work, with minimal personal drama.

Fringe is top on the list between here and FB. I'm not a fan of reality shows. I'll look up Justified.

I have quite a list so far.

If you like SF, I'd say Being Human, both UK and US, Primeval, warehouse 13, supernatural, ultraviolet, life on mars (both US and UK) heroes, ll Star Trek and Doctor Who, and much more I can't think of right now.
The new Sherlock is really great. MI6 is very good. A quirky comedy is Doc Martin.
The new Netflix produced House of Cards with Kevin Spacey is quite good. It is based on a UK show called House of Cards that is very good too.

I am a fan of Primeval, Warehouse 13, and Sherlock. They are in the permanent collection. I have most of Heroes. Being Human, Ultraviolet, Life On Mars all go on the list to look at, as does House Of Cards. Thank you

Hmm... We've just finished the run of Dinosaurs, the Henson company production from the early 90s. The show took a few episodes to hit its stride, but then maintain a very high quality. The discs had some episodes that never aired.

You are the second person to ask today, so I'll just cut and paste.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Hotel Babylon, The Walking Dead, Sherlock, Jekyll, Arrested Development, or Star Trek Original Series. Some of these may be rewatches - all of them are worth seeing twice, except maybe Walking Dead because it's quite gorey.

I own Buffy, I will rewatch it at some point, but not this year. Never heard of Hotel Babylon, gonna look that up. I got tired of The Walking Dead a few episodes into the 2nd season I may go back to it at some point though. Haven't seen Jekyll. Arrested Development has never interested me. And I have seen ST too many times. I am thinking about DS9 though.

I recently finished Sherlock (highly recommend it!) and I'm presently making it through about half a season of West Wing every night (I don't know WHAT reason I had for waiting THIS long to watch it - it's just about my perfect show for hitting all of my buttons in a good way).

We own both seasons of Sherlock. I watched most of West Wing when it was on. It may drift back onto the list at some point though.

Have you seen SportsNight, which was Sorkin's pre-West Wing show? Because that's a pretty awesome couple of seasons.
