An update

I haven't talked about how I'm doing in awhile.

The last couple of months have been a struggle. In terrible shape, and just couldn't get myself moving.

The last week has been the big jump forward. My work has gone berserk and I have taken on almost all of the regular daily work as the rest of the office works on a special project for later in the year.

So, I have to be up and around and moving all the time. The first day or two was hard, but wow it felt good. By the end of the week, I felt so much better.

As for Musecon. I was wiped out for most of it, spent a lot of it in the hotel room. I came out for music, the one panel I was on and the pool. But I still got around really well, stood and had long conversations many times and crashed out completely Sunday afternoon.

Today at work, my legs were a little sore, a little weak, but still so much better than they have been. Tonight, I did the store run since Lizzie wasn't feeling well. I came back feeling great.

Now I am relaxing a bit before I get the instruments out of their cases, since we have a lot of work to do before the Stam shows. There is a chance that I may play a short solo set one of the nights.

Now I have to keep moving, but then again, and Eric in motion tends to stay in motion.

This was originally posted on Dreamwidth, after which it wandered out to various other sites. Feel free to reply where ever you want. I should still see it.
