One more day.

One more day and we are on the train heading to Consonance.

I would like to announce that I will be even more unreasonable these next two days than I normally am. I know, that is slightly terrifying. I would like to say that it is very possible that Lizzie will be even worse.

We packed up instruments and stage gear last night. The suitcase with the pedalboards is a teensy bit heavy (in an "it has it's own gravity well" sort of heavy).

Tonight is the rest of the clothes and stuff.

The cats are confused, very confused. We packed a suitcase, and then left it in the living room. We put instruments into their cases, and left them in the rehearsal room. This does not scan in Helvetica and Calibri world.

I upgraded the room fairly cheaply today, so we have more room to stretch out. We have a shower and a toilet of our own. Admittedly a terrible shower and toilet, but it's in our room, rather than having to go downstairs for the terrible shower and toilet.

We will spend the days looking out the window as the mountains go by. We will spend the evenings watching movies and playing games. Lizzie will knit ... a lot ...

We come back to a show, Lizzie's birthday, and the 5th anniversary of her moving to Iowa.

Lizzie's Mom will be in town that weekend to pick up Reilly, who will spend a week in Indianapolis.

The following weekend we will drive to Indianapolis to bring her back.

We're a little busy the next few weeks.

Come see us at Consonance, come see us at Streetcar 209 on the 12th ... or just say hi here.

One more day!

This was originally posted on Dreamwidth, after which it wandered out to various other sites. Feel free to reply where ever you want. I should still see it.
